Unlike the waistband in your favorite sweatpants that's losing its elasticity, elastic parts won't fail you. Whether squeezed, bent, twisted, or crushed, elastic parts will immediately begin to take their original printed shape. 

Elastic filament also has incredible heat resistance and can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees (F). It also cools faster than other 3D printing materials.
