Nylon parts

Nylon Filament: the 3D catch of the day (this is not your dad's fishing line)

Nylon sets itself apart from a vast majority of 3D printing materials.  Designers, engineers, and manufacturers work with nylon because of its strength, lightness, flexibility, and shatter-resistant quality. There are several different types of nylon blends to suit a wide variety of 3D printing needs. This gives designers the ability to choose the best filament for a particular print.

Unlike commonplace PLA 3D printed parts that tend to be brittle and prone to accidental damage, nylon brings printing to a whole new level. Designers can determine exactly where to infuse strength and flexibility into a part. During the printing process with high inter-layer adhesion, nylon parts become strong enough to be used for manufacturing and industrial purposes. Nylon also has the potential to be extremely flexible depending on how thin the parts are, making it shatter resistant.
